Looking for the 27th letter
Shrugging off older definitions of being simply a “commercial art” and the amplified booming voice of a client, graphic design is recognising entirely new possibilities of engaging with a wider public and interpreting social and cultural phenomena. I will reflect upon past and current typographic research projects in order to discuss the exciting expansion of graphic design possibilities and the fundamental shift in how the public and graphic design engage with each other.
