Zelda Harrison

Zelda Harrison currently serves as President of the Board for the AIGA Center for Cross-Cultural Design (AIGA XCD), the AIGA National chapter that focuses on visual communication in the global arena. Issues of cross culture are a natural part of Zelda Harrison’s experience: she has traveled throughout Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe and has lived on three continents. Zelda has also been active at the local level, designing the BusinessMatters workshop series for AIGA Los Angeles. Over the years, BusinessMatters has sounded out AIGA LA membership about highlighting the value of visual communications to the business community.

Her work in visual communications focuses on the public and non-profit sectors, informing and educating the public via printed collateral, interactive media and environmental graphics. Public communications has been an incredibly enriching experience for her, a transition from a previous career in marketing and business development for consumer goods. Zelda’s client list includes Universal and 20th Century Fox Studios, Cedar-Sinai, CRESA Partners, The Aquarium of the Pacific, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the City of Culver City, the City of Los Angeles, UCLA, University of Southern California (USC), California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and various non-profit community groups in Los Angeles.

Zelda thrives at the epicenter of post-modern cross-culture: Los Angeles.
