Ben Jurgensen is an artist and educator based in Providence, Rhode Island, in the US, whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. He is currently a critic in the sculpture department at the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2023 he started July Bicycles as a focused formal, technical, and material exploration of the bicycle in its many forms. His current research centers around carbon composite construction, blending traditional craft processes with digital tools to create bicycles that are both visually distinct and experientially unique.
