One-day in-person workshop led by Jan De Coster

In this workshop, robots become the artists in a sort of micro-universe, but we will give them characteristics and behavior that reflect the actual creative world.
Participants will learn a simple visual coding language that will program the robots to perform an artistic task, and then get them to work on a canvas in a small arena. From there, humans and robots will continue to learn from each other: how the robots interact with their environment, and each other, will inform the humans about how they can all work together. Creating new code and combining different robots together will result in truly collaborative – Human and Robot – works of art.
This workshop is a repetition of the workshop from March 3, 2023, 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
