One-day in-person workshop led by Muiz

- Location: Room 266, VCUarts, Qatar
- Upon Registration Only
Words and images are how humans have passed information from generation to generation across at least two millennia. They’ve also contributed to the rise and fall of countless civilizations, nations and religions based on how effectively that information has been shared or preserved.
In the Age of Information where words and images are abundant – how can we most effectively communicate complex messages using these two components? With Muiz, you’ll explore the relationship between semiotics and legibility, culture and commerce, and also how to experiment with the poster format based not only on its contemporary function, but also its historical precedents.
Participants need to have a laptop/personal computer to be able to conduct the workshop.
The workshop is repeated on March 4, 2024, 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
