Panelists: Bradly Dunn Klerks, Faysal Tabbarah, Gwyllim Jahn from Fologram

The process of building – of making – is central to the act of being human. From the first stone tools to the Industrial Revolution to today’s digital fabrication technologies, our ability to create has evolved at an incredible rate. Recently, we find ourselves at a crossroads: the crossroads of great power and great responsibility. What are the best ways to build and make? What are the materials that we should choose?

Our panelists live these questions every day – in different ways. Coming from the worlds of fashion, architecture, and technology, they present three different perspectives on creation. What are the boundaries of “digital fabrication”? What are the boundaries of “natural” materials? How do we harness the power and the possibility to create in ways that both inspire and sustain us?

The three will present their work and their ideas, and then will come together for a conversation and questions from the audience.
